I think it is safe to say that the majority of Americans have a vague and possibly skewed perception of what the Affordable Health Care Act (ObamaCare) is really going to do and mean for them. At this mornings club meeting we got the straight scoop from club member Blane Markley and his associate Chadron Patton. Both work for Spenser Fane and Chadron is a member of the Overland Park Rotary club. I consider them experts on Health Care Law and after this mornings meeting that was doubly confirmed. They gave us some sobering stats, all of which are attached in a pdf version of there presentation. Also attached is a report done by MU on the economic impacts of Medicaid expansion in Missouri. Arguably the hottest coffee table book of the spring. With that said it should be noted that Blane and Chadron agree that the Affordable Health Care Act is here to stay, the better informed you are, the wiser choices you can make.
